Ward was a born in MonroeLouisianaonApril 151976. Ward went to Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school. For her secondary education, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School, but then transferred into River Oaks High School during the summer following her junior year. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after graduation. Ward started modeling at the age of thirteen, leaving her school to go to New York. She tried her hand at acting a few years later. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited part in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Prime Time Malibu Shores. Ward landed her first role on the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera in which she played female virgin Meg Cummings. In 1999, her career in film began with her role as Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the thriller erotica The In Crowd. The movie, initially a financial failure in theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD) it became extremely loved. Ward played a support role in Shallow Hal the following year. Ward also appeared as a guest in numerous TV shows as well as direct-to dvd movies.
